Our front office team is looking for an intern to assist it in every aspect of the trade flow.

We are looking for a highly motivated and hard-working individual, who is curious, learns fast and has a strong interest in financial markets and derivatives. The intern is fully integrated in the team and his involvement in daily tasks will be a priority for us.

The position will give you a broad understanding of how the structured products market is organized and will allow you to be in daily contact with our investment banking partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in day-to-day investment advisory (optimization and structuring of investment products, backtests, factsheets and other marketing materials);
  • Be a main contact of our investment banking partners when Sesame issues new products: product pricing, looking for alternative payoffs, product booking, etc.
  • Prepare daily & weekly investment ideas to offer our clients, with a strong focus on either the product features or on the fundamentals of an investment theme pushed by our Research team;
  • Collect data and investment reports to help improve our impact on specific investment themes;
  • Bring added-value by creating new ways of promoting our investment solutions to clients (new type of documents, new distribution channels, ...);
  • Improve and translate existing investment or research documents;
  • Keep our database up to date by following-up on product lifecycle, booking new products, adding research documents.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Excellent level in English + native French, German or Italian;
  • Student in a top business school, majoring in Financial Markets;
  • A previous experience in structured products is not mandatory, but we need a candidate with strong interest in financial markets and derivatives;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel. Generally tech-savvy;
  • Passport from a EU member state;

QA Analyst

Sesame is looking to add a second Quality Assurance Analyst to its development team in order to accelerate the workflow on its in-house platform, Open.

This critical position requires extreme attention to detail and a particular ease with numbers as our software is focused on financial investments, meaning that our QA analyst is required to understand the expected results in order to test new features.

Your successful integration in our friendly, flexible work environment will be a priority as our growing and exigent client base needs a flawless, professional platform to answer complex and tailor-made needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hands-on testing of existing and new features, with precise issue reporting using JIRA;
  • Improve our defect prevention processes and anticipate potential issues when implenting new features;
  • Develop functional testing processes;
  • Reproduce bugs as reported by Sesame users or clients and document any anomaly;
  • Write comprehensive technical documentation on general or tailor-made/restricted features;
  • Maintain a very high quality standard for the external users.


CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Previous experience as a QA is mandatory;
  • Experience in Quality Management software;
  • Knowledge of web technologies (Javascript, HTML, XML, CSS);

  • Follow-up with clients on our existing Actively Managed Certificates (portfolio construction & rebalancings, reportings, client enquiries);
